Red Zebra Clothing Presents: The Hate The Rich Collection

With the world in such a dark place recently, I believe many people are seeking someone or something to put their faith in. But with organized religion slowly dying, people’s new gods have become consumerism and willful ignorance. I believe that most are victims, because as long as corporations continue their deceptive tactics of penny-pinching, the 99% will continue to hurt.

Sadly, many companies have become adept at hiding their dirty laundry, meaning that the majority of people in this country will never notice the shady business practices of the wealthy, and don’t want to notice them. By design, the American education system is continuously underfunded, so that no one learns, and therefore never wants to learn.

But at the end of the day, we’re all being taken advantage of in the pursuit of money, and our government is no different. Greedy corporations and “public servant” billionaires are funded by us, the everyday people. And what’s baffling to me is that many still don’t understand that people come in many different variations, and yet they’re still a person. We are all under someone's thumb, so if we’re all screwed as much as everybody else, why all the hate?

If we want anything to change, we need to stop hating each other and direct our frustrations at the people who play with the lives of millions as if it were a game of Mario Party. With Politicians and Billionaires becoming increasingly inseparable, or even identical, power is now in the hands of corporations, not the people.

So, for anything to be different, we need to get the majority to set aside their blissful ignorance and get on the same team as everyone else. That starts with a conversation, or even more simply, words. That’s what the “Hate The Rich” collection is about: starting a conversation, inciting words.

Come to think of it, the entire Red Zebra brand is based on the idea of making someone rethink what they know. Whether right or wrong, it’s more important to learn from everyone around you than to constantly die on the hill of excessive consumerism. Heading in the direction we’re going, the United States will implode once the consumer’s wealth has fully dried up, and the only way to avoid destruction is by talking about it.

So, let my shirt act as that conversation starter for you, because you never know how much your words will change the world.
